Welcome to the Center for Young Children Blue Room Kindergarten Home Page. The CYC is a lab school within the University of Maryland. In addition to being a school for ages three to kindergarten,the CYC teaches teachers and helps researchers collect data. Our curriculum is based on the Project Approach where we encouraging children to be critical thinkers.
